You knew this was coming! Here it is: consumable effects :-)
You'll be able to craft potions that do lots of stuff to your stats as well as some that influence gameplay.
In this video, I showcase the following 4 potions:
- A health regen potion, which regens health over a period of time;
- A stamina regeneration rate increase potion, which simply makes you recover stamina faster to the point where you can keep attacking or dodge rolling without emptying your stamina bar;
- A mead, which for now increases attack power, but in the future it will also make you lose stamina (as a tradeoff)
- Finally, one of the cooler ones, a jump potion, which makes your character jump higher over a period of time (like in Morrowind).
Here's a video showcasing a bit of the day / night system and how it manipulates npc routines and certain events, as well as music (there's a day and night ambience track, and ambience sounds as well)
Finally, there's a fight with a slime duo, which serves to showcase a bit of the lock on system and the combat improvements you can expect on the next release (which should be coming, perhaps early december!)
